Pulling off the Rockstar Style

When you think of a rockstar, you envision a rebel. Someone who defies cultural constrictions and exhibits his message with no reservation.

The rocker look is founded upon this principle. A rocker is unabashed, confident, and is not afraid to wear something other people would never dare touch. But somehow, rockers are able to pull the crazy style off. Whether it be zebra print and gold, they make you want to try the new style. You feel like the dress/suit was made just for them, and their confidence cements this feeling.

Rockers use flashy, unique styles. Though it may seem they miraculously whipped the getup out of the closet with no planning, the rocker style does have structure. To become truly in sync with the rocker style, one must be confident, and not afraid to step in untreaded fashion territory.

The rockstar girl and boy are not constricted by conventional standards. They will wear what they want, and captivate people with their style at the same time.

For men, long disheveled hair is considered sexy and masculine. Just dont let the hair get too unruly, or else you may start resembling the yeti. A small shadow on the face complements the ruggedness. Make sure to have a clean face though, a face with acne is unnattractive no matter what style. Oh did I forget to mention eyelining is acceptable? Just dont put on any lipstick.

For girls, you can experiment with colors, and shades in your makeup. Pinks, purples, and electric blue are popular. Just dont overdo it. The downside with such bright colors is that if one is not careful, they can come out looking like a clown. A light foundation is a good idea to put on as well.

Rockstars clothing is unique, and stands out in the crowd. Animal prints in conjunction with simple black or white pants/jeans will also balance out a style if it is very flashy. Popular clothing that has a rockstar edge is the LAMB line by Gwen Stefani, and Dirt Star Designs.

For guys, dark black jeans, shirt, and a suit jacket is a classic rockstar ensemble. It is seemingly casual, but adding a black or pale colored suit jacket makes for an interesting and eyecatching style. Threaded brown hats, and replacing the suit jacket with a sleek leather one will also look good with a rocker style when one wants a change in pace.

For girls, animal print dresses, large belts, and gawdy jewelry is popularly used. Make sure not to overdo jewelry though. With jewelry you might want to wear large earings, necklaces or bracelets, but not at the same time. Animal print will add a zest in your clothes, but the unnaturally colored ones such as hot pink do not work well. If you want to acentuate a certain body part, get a flashy item and wear it around that part. For example, a large belt around your slim waist catches people's attention, emphasizing the spot.

Rockstars are blunt, fun, and very confident. They are not afraid to try new things, and certainly not of other people's opinions about them. They will be the first to try out a new style if it suits them, and the last to be seen in American Eagle.

Rockstars are confident, and impulsive. They aren't afraid to be who they are, and at tiems may come off too strongly. That is just their nature though, and it fits their style. So if your an independent non-comformist, the rockstar style may be just for you.
